Doing this should avoid damage 100 percent of the time, whereas the other way you’d be lucky to average 50 percent. What you need to do is instead of waiting for the slam, you rush the back one and then jump towards Little John, not away. Repeat this method for the right leg and then change the timing for the back one.

Usually, this will result in him slamming or doing something under him, making it safe for a moment but not much more than that. What you want to do is hang out under it, wait for the slam, do a couple of hits and leave.

I found the best time to attack is when he does the move where he starts with the back leg on the ground. This is entirely due to Little John having a punch attack that starts on that side and he won’t or is at least far less likely to do it if you’re on the right side. No place is harder to hit than the leg on your left side. The trick to this fight is really how and when you go about attacking. Since your options for the build are quite limited, I would make sure you have a full set of armor and build towards fighting a boss, instead of what makes sense wondering around. If you’re running low on ammo, there is a shop in the middle of this area or you can return to the mall and obtain as much as you need. I also advise using the R-1 ‘Diode Laspistol drone. Going into this fight I strongly suggest having something either quick or long to damage him. Here’s our The Surge 2 Little John Guide Preparation
#The surge 2 boss guide how to
At the time of writing, it is not currently known how to unlock it in The Surge 2. This can make the fight extremely difficult, as certain small choices can turn this fight from a joke to an absolute nightmare.Įditor’s Note: This guide does not include the method to unlock the 2.0 weapon. In a lot of ways, he is a direct copy of Firebug from The Surge, except Little John is almost entirely technique. Even if Warden Garcia is the first boss in The Surge 2, Little John is the first real one.
